Hi, I’m Richard Blewett. I’m the odd one out at thinktecture in that I live in the UK.

I’ve been building distributed systems for all of my 20 years of professional development; first with client/server systems against mainframes and then on to distributed windows systems using first DCOM and then Remoting and web services.
I’ve always found a fascination in the inherent complexity in large distributed systems and the challenges in making them both scale and perform. For the last few years I have focused on technologies that generally help to build large complex systems: WCF, Workflow and BizTalk.
